Tuesday Pokering

So far I’ve gotten in 800 hands and I’m running sick bad, but I’m still up about 1/2 a buy in at 200 NL. I feel really good so far about my play and I think that I’m getting into my groove.

The tables were a lot better than yesterday to start the morning; I’m averaging about 20% more hands/hour than I was yesterday at this time and its mainly because of the better tables. I’ve had to take a break today because the waitlists got too long on each of the tables, and all my other good tables seemed to end.

I start my tournament stake tomorrow for my first event of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS). I’m getting backed for around $7800 in tournaments this month at a full 50/50 deal with make up; needless to say I’m going to be playing a lot of poker this month. The 50k hand goal is really going to be a challenge, and I’ll have to confirm if that includes hands from tournaments. It will be a challenge and I hope to make money doing so.

I finished yesterday up 1 buy in after 1500 hands and 5 hours of play. Those 5 hours would equal about 2500 hands at 100 NL just due to the hands/hour so I feel I’m already at a disadvantage to Kavin there. Like I said, this is going to be a challenge and I don’t want to drop down in limits to get in cheap hands.

I’m going to go grab some more random crap still in my car, then probably head down to the mini-mart located in one of the apartment buildings to buy some bread, eggs, and milk. After that, I’ll reheat some leftovers and play another poker session.
