Hey guys, welcome to JeffreyLipsey.com. I’ve been a full-time professional poker player since I graduated from the University of Illinois in December of 2006 (my online aliases are Elipsesjeff and CodeRedRulez). Before that, I considered myself a semi-professional for another 1.5 years.
I graduated with two bachelor degrees, one in Accounting and the other in Finance. I have enough hours to take both the CPA and CFA exam (I think) but really thats not the path I want to go down, at least right now.
JeffreyLipsey.com is a combination of 3 blogs: Coderedpoker.com, Lamererun.com, and shortstackstocks.com. I’ve always been interested in investing and money, which probably is one of the reasons I’ve always done so well at poker. Throw in the fact that I watch a lot of TV, and you’ve found the premise for my own site. I got tired of having each specific blog for different parts of my life when, really, I just want to write about my life.
