This could get interesting… I did a quick search on the MoneyGram website for local places that will let me receive MoneyGrams: Not one Bank! I didn’t care if I had to drive like 15 minutes but I really would have liked to have my money cashed in from a bank, I just feel more secure doing this.

Just for funsies, let me list some of the places I could pick up my MoneyGram:
-Margarita’s Grocery
-Ace Cash Express
-Tanya’s Mercado Latino
-Walmart
-Air World Travel (wtf?)
-Shoppers Pharmacy (My only choice IMO)
-Esther’s West African Fashions
-Yc Latino Market (sic)
-Carolina’s Unisex
-El Eden Supermercado
-Immigration and Bilingual Services

This was only on the end of page 2 of 5!!! Do you guys see a pattern here because I do, but I think Marlyn would get mad at me if I actually point it out. To view other places where I could possibly cash the money gram click here and fill in Alexandria, VA USA.

I guess I should go take care of that today, even though I got up later than normal I haven’t played any poker yet. I certainly plan to though when I get back depending on how long it will take.

I feel like I played extremely well and, even though I finished 850/5700, I am happy with my play. The money bubble was 738 which would only take about 10-15 hands to make the cash, but I wasn’t in it to cash I wanted to go deep.

I didn’t get AA-KK the entire tournament even though I played for over 3.5 hours and 180 hands. I did get JJ a few times and won them all and I got a nice increase with QQ. I was pretty shortstacked the entire tournament except for only a few hands. I ended up busting 66 vs AJo all in preflop when I restole a CO open; I was ahead of his range and if I win the flip I easily get first level cash let alone deeper than that.

Full Tilt upgraded its software yesterday and the addition that I noticed the most was the change in slider bar use. It now acts the same as Poker Stars and makes it go so much smoother. The software itself though was very frustrating as it lagged out my computer the entire tournament. I was not able to even browse the internet without timing out of hands 1 tabling; I had plans of grinding some FR while playing the tournament but not with the way the software was acting. Hopefully they fix this soon, as its going to be painful trying to play on the site and play elsewhere while this is going on.

In total I got in over 900 hands at 200 NL yesterday and finished up nearly 4 buy ins. I have a feeling I’m getting bluffed out of some pots so that is an adjustment I may have to look into making.
